True-Tie Track Components
True-Tie System components are designed to work together to make it easy for Do-It-Yourself hobbyists to build exciting track layouts to precise standards. Track components are available as separate rails and ties or as assembled straight or curved panels. Other common components include tie plates, rail joiners and metal screws.
Of course, no track layout is really complete without switches, crosses and frogs. The True-Tie System includes those components.
- Screw holes are molded at the correct angle, giving ideal alignment and ensuring accurate rail contact. Accepts #8 and #10 screws
- Automatically provides 1.5 degree inward cant for rail with a 15/16" foot
- Correct-thickness gauges provided for both aluminum and steel rail
- Available gauges: 7 9/16, 7 5/8, 7 3/8, 7 1/4 (185mm)
- Dual gauges: 7 1/4" (185mm) and 5" (128mm)
