The Thomas

The Thomas line of trains from The Railroad Factory is designed primarily as a ride for children at malls, carnivals and similar sites. Track can be installed quickly and easily on a parking lot or flat lawn.

Thomas trains are powered by a surprisingly powerful electric motor. Stop, go and speed are controlled remotely — much like a table-top electric train.

Recently, the Thomas has become popular with hobbyists who convert their back yards into a rideable miniature railroad setting.
